The station will be open for fall clean-up on Sundays Oct. 19, Oct. 26, Nov. 2 and Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., barring severe weather on those days.
All Clifton Park town residents are eligible to drop off their leaves and brush. A permit is not required to dispose of the leaves and brush and admission to the transfer station for fall clean-up is free.
Residents that bring their leaves and brush in biodegradable paper lawn bags may leave the full bags at the transfer station. Residents bringing leaves and brush in any other container will be asked to dump the leaves and brush out and then take the empty container with them when leaving the transfer station.
Wooden brush that is dropped off must be no larger than 8 inches in diameter or longer than 5 feet in length.
Only leaves and brush will be accepted on the Sunday dates. Transfer station permit-holders wishing to dispose of trash are asked to come during normal operating hours.
All town residents are also welcome to dispose of fall leaves and brush for free during normal operating hours. For information, call Transfer Station Supervisor Jeff Vedder at 371-6669.
